Shah Rukh Khan's Pathan, the king of Bollywood, earned Rs 270 crores before its
release, despite all the controversy.
The movie Pathan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, comes out on January 25. After nearly four years, King
Khan is making a comeback on the big screen with Pathan. His most recent
appearance was in the 2018 film "Zero."
Pathan's budget is also
estimated to be in the range of 250 crore Indian rupees, or 680 crore Pakistani
rupees.
As per Indian media reports,
the OTT privileges of the film "Pathan" have been sold for around Rs
100 crores before its delivery and this sum is more than Rs 270 crores in
Pakistani money.
Amazon Prime has bought
Pathan's OTT rights. The movie, which has already spent half of its budget, is
expected to be released on the OTT platform in late March or early April.
There is still a month until
the movie comes out, but there are already conversations about it, protests
over the movie's songs all over India, and some places have even threatened not
to release the movie.
